“Yo there! Name’s Ashe, I’m a bounty hunter, nice to meet ya’ll!!”

Xavier was not suddenly expecting to be greeted by the woman he had only just spotted a little while ago, and it was by pure coincidence that they both seemed to be heading in the same general direction.

Not knowing how to respond to the girl really, but not wanting to seem rude or anything he nodded a quick hello to the girl after she had introduced herself.

But the way she kept on staring without turning to leave, he seemed to get the hint that she wanted to at least learn his name, which caused the reploid to utter a light sigh before he smiled a tiny bit.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, my name is Xavier, a bounty hunter as well, although, I don’t think I’ve ever met or heard of a bounty hunter by the name of Ashe back in Neo Arcadia… Are you from another region or something?" Xavier inquired politely, trying not to be too awkward as he normally was around strangers.

Reploid Head Canons [in formation]

Some Head Canons are forming for me about Reploid electronics, etc; how they fricking work compared to Humans. And some other stuff that could be considered NSFW? If this interests/doesn’t bother you, read on.

Canon-Following Guidelines

neo-arcadia-and-company:

If your way of rping a character differs enough from canon that it could change major parts of the storyline, you are Alternate Universe/Reality.

Food: Prior to ZX, Reploids do not consume food. Neither do robots. Mavericks are bad enough without the ability to eat humans, and if Reploids in the Zero series could have eaten food there would have been no need to kill them to save energy. While it is unlikely Dr. Wily would have created robots that eat food simply because energy is cheaper, it is also unlikely he would have them actually devour humans. Dr. Light explains in the Ask Dr. Light section of Capcom magazine that Megaman is solar powered, and so are many of the Robot Masters. If you rp a non-human character from the X or Zero series and they eat food, you are rping alternate reality.

Armor: Prior to ZX, the armor does not come off. It is part of your body. This is debatable for some Classic robots. Megaman is an example of a robot whose armor does come off. Civillian Reploids in X and Zero are seen with armor. Civillian Reploids in ZX are unarmored, and become frightened of armored Reploids, thinking them to be Mavericks. X and Zero game era would react similarly to armored Reploids if civillian forms and removable armor existed. Reploids were created to be tools, and removable armor is a waste of resources. Removable armor could have enabled Reploids to blend in with humans, which is extremely bad if they are a Maverick and complicates events for Maverick Hunters and the Guardians of Neo Arcadia to the extent of humans possibly getting mistakenly killed. Deceased Reploid Cyber Elves have been shown to be able to alter their appearance, and may have removable armor if they want it. If you rp a non-ZX Reploid with removable armor, you are rping alternate reality.

Civillian Form: Related to armor. Prior to ZX, Reploids do not have a civillian form. Reploids were created to be tools, and a civillian form is a waste of resources. Removable armor could have enabled Reploids to blend in with humans, which is extremely bad if they are a Maverick and complicates events for Maverick Hunters and the Guardians of Neo Arcadia to the extent of humans possibly getting mistakenly killed. Deceased Reploid Cyber Elves have been shown to be able to alter their appearance, and may have a civillian form if they want one. If you rp a non-ZX Reploid with a civillian form, you are rping alternate reality.

Hair: Related to armor and civillian form. Prior to ZX and excluding some Classic robots, underneath the helmet there is no hair. The hair would still be a waste of resources, but not as much as a civillian form or removable armor. Since no major storyline alterations can be seen stemming from this, you can rp a non-ZX Reploid with hair under the helmet and still be classed as mostly canon following.

Procreation: Unless you roleplay a ZX Reploid or a human, you can not partake in such activities. Reploids from the X and Zero eras require companies to build them, and then they must work to repay their creation cost or whatever amount the owner says. In the Zero game era ‘free born’ Reploids exist - Reploids built by other Reploids as their children. It is unknown if Cyber Elves breed. If you rp a robot or a non-ZX Reploid procreating, you are rping an alternate reality.

Love interests: Take the time to develop your relationships. If the character you are rping has no given preference, you may choose your own. Do not go against canon for the characters who clearly have preferences. Rospark, a Pseudroid from ZX, is gay. Zero loved Iris, and it was the creator’s intention that he be heterosexual. X can be open to interpretation, but he views Reploids as his ‘children’ because they were all based on him and Zero to be like his brother. Remember, not everyone is interested in romantic relationships. Forcing your own preferences on a character is bad writing and fanservice. If you ignore the character’s opinions on the matter, you disrespectful of the character, the series, the franchise, the creator, other fans, potential fans, and you are rping alternate reality.

I’m not apart of the nac, but I figure I should reblog it anyways
